Pullum Sports played a pivotal role in the 2015 Rugby World Cup (RWC 2015), specifically in managing the supply and rollout of gym equipment for the training venues. Pullum’s capacity to provide world class products, service and support during the whole event meant our involvement encompassed delivering and collecting over 100 tonnes of equipment from 38 different sites, racking up 13,000 miles on the Pullum van clock within just 8 weeks!
Seamless Logistics: Pullum Sports Role in Equipping Training Venues
The project presented a considerable logistical challenge but Pullum demonstrated exceptional organisational skills and efficiency by overseeing installations in various locations across the country. From bustling cities like Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Swansea and Brighton to Plymouth, their dedicated installation teams went above and beyond the call of duty, working tirelessly they often completed up to 4 site installs in a single day. The magnitude of the operation was most evident at the largest venues, seamlessly delivering Eleiko platforms, racks, benches and their world renowned bars and discs. In addition to all this Eleiko equipment, Pullum also provided their own essential equipment such as Leg Press and Glute/Ham benches, Keiser Bikes, Concept rowers, Inotec gym machines, and Intenza treadmills.
